Today, what fun! I’m at a library Author/Artist event. I’m sitting at a table with my illustrator, the amazing Emme Gibson! I’m surrounded by creatives and books. What a wonderful deal.
When we left the house, my garden was full of color. I felt the flowers singing a joyful song as we rolled down the driveway, the car filled with art and books.
Will I sell all of my Karate Mama books sitting in the box? Anything is possible. What I do know is that it is an honor to be here.
Once, if you had told me I would become a published author, making connections with other writers, I would have laughed and said, “Sure!”
Here I am. This is the day the LORD has made. I will enjoy my time and celebrate being here.
What dream do you have that seems a size too big? Dare to ask God to help you make it happen! Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Sometimes your wild imaginings really can come true.
Thank You, Father, for joyful connections along the pathway of faith.

I wish! I sold 3 and donated a replacement to the library (someone had spilled coffee on my other copy). Still, it was a great experience! I got to meet some local authors, hang out with a wonderful librarian and encourage my daughter who was selling her art with me. I had to remind myself of my goal to interact with my community as an AUTHOR, because in that case it was a definite win!
