“But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44, NIV).

(Inspired by Numbers 6:24-27)
May the LORD bless you today and help you recognize His love.
May the LORD shine His face upon you, healing your eyes so you see His beauty.
May He be gracious to you, causing your cup to overflow with joy.
May He turn His face towards you, replacing your anxious fretting with peace surpassing understanding.
Let His healing in your life show the world that you belong to the LORD. May your witness lead many to bless His name.
Oh, “enemy of mine,” I hoped by now that we would be friends. It seems like the best we have done is to co-exist. What seems impossible to us is right up God’s alley!
Today, I thank Him for your presence in my life. He teaches me humility and patience as I share space with you.
When I pray for my “enemy” and seek her blessing, I restore my hope in love.
Thank You, Jesus, for teaching us Your most excellent way. Please bless my sister with Your mercy and love.
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21, NIV).
I love the way you wrote this. Well done!
Blessings to you and yours!
Marie
I have learned that it is nearly impossible to stay angry with someone if you are praying for them.

that’s a direction I didn’t expect this word prompt to do. Thanks for the surprise. Good though, to consider that prayer is an act of love. visiting FMF13
This is a beautiful prayer for your enemy
Interesting timing, as I just finished listening to a sermon by Pastor Anthony George (First Baptist Atlanta) on praying for your enemy as well.
I also enjoyed the surprise take on this prompt. I might just have to use it as a journal prompt for myself!
