But Wait! There’s More!

“Taste and see that the LORD is good;

Blessed is the one who takes refuge

In Him” (Psalm 34:8, NIV).

Extra: Bonus, prize, bounty, reward, favor, windfall, manna, gift

I had no idea. If I hadn’t tasted, I never would have discovered. In Christ, the extras far outweighed my doubts.

Wanderer, sceptic, you have no idea! If you open the door, more wonder will fill your heart than you yet imagined.

Try to fathom how much love the Father has for you. He did, after all, give up His own Son to redeem your life.

I have walked in His way all of these 34 years. I have known God’s love in times of loneliness. I have received His provision in times of need. I have cried out and been rescued when the waters were too rough. I have known joy when it didn’t make sense. I have discovered true peace where I expected fear. He has lavished mercy on me when I thought I’d gone too far.

Taste and see His goodness. He will not disappoint. All this extra blessing waits on your simple, “Yes!”

“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him” (Psalm 103:11, NIV).
