Limit

“You hem me in- behind and before; You have laid Your hand upon me.”

Psalm 139:5

Lord of my Life, You hem me in. You know my frame is weak.

I trust You to place boundaries for my good. You made me. I am Yours.

My own tendency takes it all on. Your ways are better than mine.

I rest in the knowledge that you guide me always.

Trusting in your limits brings me peace.

Lord of Heaven and Earth,

I love the way You work!

My understanding limits You not.
I see all the ways: You exceed expectations,
To You, our impossibilities are opportunities.
Love is Your motive,
Endless power is Yours to display.
Save us from our limitations.
Show us Your limitless love.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work in us,

to Him be glory in the church and in  Christ Jesus

throughout all generations,

For ever and ever!

Amen!”

Ephesians 3:20-21
