Transform Me

Tell me again how You use all things. Will our pain really turn into purpose?

Remind me You’re with me when I feel alone. Help me trust!

Answer my cry and catch my fall. Alone, I am too weak.

Never let me give up on faith. The struggle is worth the prize.

Set my feet upon a rock. With You I can stand firm.

Fear is cast out by Your love. I sing within Your care.

Overcoming each battle in Your strength. Fill me with Your joy.

Radiant faces will be revealed. The battle belongs to the Lord.

My life, in Your hands, tears transformed to praise.

…being transformed into His likeness…

2 Corinthians 3:18

  1. I love this grand acrostic,
    crafted with such skill.
Each letter gets the perfect pick
of phrase to match God’s will,
but it’s not His will alone,
    yours is in there, too;
    independent, not a clone,
    your heart comes shining through,
and that’s the way it s’posed to be,
for God made you with care
    for ind’viduality
that set you bright and fair
    to ever delight His eyes,
    and offer daily fresh surprise.
