“Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other” (1Kings 3:25, NIV).
I will love You, God, with all of my heart,
And I will love You, God, with all of my mind,
And I will love You, God, with all of my strength,
For You are my Lord, You are my Lord.
(Jude del Hiero, More Power)
Love is no good in half measures. All of the heart needs to join. A wise king knew how to find the loving mother…all or nothing for her. Love always protects!

I will not give God my partials, my leftovers, or my spare change. He who breathes life into my being deserves my very best.
Over halfway to Heaven… surely I won’t be 120 years old! This race is best run when I cling to the One who makes my feet able to move.
Half of the time, I forget the great prize. I think too much of the wrong things. Lord, train me to run with my eyes fixed on You, ignoring the things that take half of my strength, the worry and fear, the what ifs, the should haves…let these things fall away. Half of this morning has already passed. Now let me focus on things that will last.
My glass is half full when I remember who fills it. Renew, please, my strength for today.
All of my heart, my mind, and my strength are Yours. I will do this Your way.
